I've been living in the UK for many years now, but I am originally from Slovenia. Which might explain my love for the mountains, sunshine and anything green!

 

I am inspired by all manner of flora and fauna of the world around us, and I enjoy experimenting with different mediums to capture their beauty. Whether I'm using ink, oil or fabric, I like to create art that is a little whimsical and a little enchanting.

I also love old folk traditions, festivities and symbolism, something that was all around me when I grew up, and have always included in my art. I find it resonates with people in a way that few things do. Perhaps it's nostalgia, a sense of old communities, or a connection to your child self, still in awe of fairytales and the magic of unknown. Either way, it's a way for me to explore and immerse myself in a fantasy land of my own making.
